NVX Preview Dashboard is a third-party software tool built on the Crestron DM NVX® device API. It gives audio-visual professionals greater visibility over their DM NVX network — showing live stream previews, device status, and signal routing information in a single browser-based interface. It is not an official Crestron product.

You need an existing Crestron DM NVX installation — at least one NVX encoder on your local network. The dashboard software itself runs on any Windows PC on the same network. No additional hardware is required.
The dashboard communicates directly with your NVX devices over your local network. However, a periodic internet connection is required — the software performs a license validation check approximately once a week to confirm your licence is active. An internet connection is also needed for initial activation and software updates.
No. All communication with your NVX devices stays entirely within your local network. We do not collect, transmit, or store any information about your devices, streams, or network topology. The only data we hold is what you provide at purchase — your name, email, and license information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Download the app and launch it — your 14-day free trial starts automatically on first run. No sign-up or credit card required. When the trial ends, a prompt inside the app will guide you to the purchase page.
Each licence is tied to one machine. If you need to move to a different PC, you can deactivate and reactivate your licence from within the app. Multi-seat team plans are on the roadmap — email us if that's something you need.
